Not too long ago, I picked up my first-ever pair of Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! I’ve also worn them enough now that I can confidently speak to their craftsmanship, and a bunch of related details about them, which you’ll find explored in this post.

Where did you purchase them?
I found mine on sale via Cettire and purchased them that way!
I ordered them on the 28th of April and they were delivered by the 30th, so the shipping was super fast and that’s a win in my book
How expensive are they?
Back in April, I managed to get them for $385.43 instead of paying the full $513.91.

How does the sizing run?
They’re true to size in golden goose slides my experience, at least for me.
They haven’t stretched noticeably, so if you’re in the middle, I’d go up
How comfy are they?
They only needed minimal break-in time..
How do they perform over time?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. No glitter has fallen off, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Thanks to the vintage look, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They have a hidden arch lift that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is unique. And the shine on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Would you recommend them?
Yes! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They cost a lot, so getting them with a promo is worth it. They’re worth the investment, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I chose a loud pair, but a minimalist version would also look great.

How does the sizing run?
I found them to fit true to size, at least for me. Since they don’t stretch and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d choose the larger option.
Is the comfort worth it?
They felt good right away. I wear no-show socks with them, especially since they help with airflow. High-end Italian leather construction, so it’s much more comfortable than breaking in fake leather. Plus, they’re already softened so your feet just slide in.
How do they perform over time?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. The laces are intact, and the structure feels strong.
Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
